And I guess for an eldritch horror, the Wall of Flesh
but like, Cthulhu isn't a moon lord or a pillar of the underworld. In canon, he's the slumbering dreamer god of the deep Pacific
and like the Wall of Flesh gives you the Terrified debuff, but imagine if there was a "Madness" debuff
where just looking at Cthulhu makes you take damage or something, or like it causes your character to hallucinate, or the screen to become foggy and covered in static
since the nature of an eldritch god is so inconceivable to humans that just the sight of one should drive someone mad
but all we have is a weird lookin eye, a brain, and a metal spine
and those are our only real references to Cthulhu
