Or well, you can't get some items in Classic you'd be forced to drop Insignia in Classic.

Assuming you're not bringing a fully built up character around, you'd drop Insignia, anyways.

The glove is there to give your whip Autoswing mostly. You can do without it if you want, but you lose the defense, swing speed, and autoswing.
