Not necessarily the only problem would be keeping the updates around the same time for consoles, mobile and pc. Minecraft has show nJust how easy it is to do something like that. The minecraft marketplace isn't even ran by mojang anymore its ran by a bunch of creators minecrafts worked with for skins and texture packs in the past.

All it really would require is better update timing between pc and console ( which isn't really a necessity) and some small coding to create the interface and mapping. The rest could literally be outsourced to the user just like minecraft does for its creators
