placing storage should depend on certain stuff, so if you have a fishing area place fishing stuff there e.g Bait or fishing rods. You can also put certain items near certain npcs so the angler gets Bait chests etc But you can also just make a chest monster and place rows of chests about your world and hope to find what you need
