Trigger is better for jumping than A

You can barely aim with jump being mapped to any of the face buttons

At least with ZL you can move backwards and actually aim at a target without having to crab claw the controller

With any of the face buttons, it's either aim, or jump

Doing both is unnecessarily complicated using them
