Wanna kill plantera but think u might die in such small area? U need an invincibility machine! Here is how to make one:

2 target dummies

Any type of block for the roof

A slime mount

Now build it!

Place down your 2 target dummies, use stone for the floor to make small flat area. 4 block wide. Do same for roof

Now go to your target dummies, u can break the bulb this point on now.

Now use your slime mount. You will now be bouncing on your 2 target dummies. Bouncing on enemies gives you some invincibility frames, same goes with target dummies.
