I tried three times to defeat skelitron prime but died every time with tituim armor explosive bullets and a mega shark what's going wrong

Maybe try using Crystal or Ichor bullets. Theyre typically the recommended bullets to use. But if you go between the 2, i recommend Ichor since youre dealing more damage, and youre diminishing its defense.
Id also recommend using some mobility accessories, as well as regen and damage. You dont typically want to focus on 1 thing over everything else. The best strategy is to use different accessories that do different things. Like 1-2 for mobility, one of which being wings, 1 for life regen, and 1-2 for attack/defense.

Also, if youve already beat a mech boss and you have the Steampunker. I recommend buying the blend o matic and making an arena out of asphalt blocks. Asphalt blocks make you run faster when you walk on them, which meaning you dont need to use an accessory like Lightning Boots for the most part since Asphalt Blocks cover mobility for you. But you may need something to help you dash, like the Cthulhu Shield.

Im just glad i got the stuff i needed before everything started to become too chaotic. I got out of there with my Hotline Fishing Pole, my Discount Card, and my Sniper Scope. Plus i also took a few stacks of platinum coins, stacks of fishing crates, weapons, Drill Containment Unit, and a few other accessories.

Besides. In terms of ammo, theres really only 2 bullets that id need to get my hands on in surplus. Chlorophyte and Luminite. Luminite shouldnt be too difficult to get now that i have found the ultimate strategy to defeat Moon Lord thanks to one of my new friends. Its mainly Chlorophyte thats the limiting factor despite me taking like 7-9 stacks of Chlorophyte bullets from Sun's item world.
