Put item in chest. Save. Reenter, take item out of chest, save and exit, close the game whilst the game saves world data.

Works for both, in singleplayer you put an item in a chest, save&quit, then go back into the world and take the item back and as you leave the world you have to also close the game

As for multiplayer I think it's just put an item you want to dupe in a chest but then as you leave the world immediately close the game

As a little hack: you can shimmer a magma stone into a lava charm.

Switch 2 versions are mostly made by Nintendo for the sake of milking extra money.

Since this game isn't made by Nintendo that likely won't be the case.

I want there to be a switch 2 version because I have some builds that I'm proud of on the switch.

Also I'm a bit lazy to build them on the other consoles I own also I like me touch control s.

It was cool when I had the 3ds version of terraria but then my 3ds was dissected by little brothers and everything was unrecoverable since the e shop closed.

I'm currently getting a new phone to play Terraria and Minecraft along with the backbone controller.

Anyone looking to play Terraria this early in the morning xD

Now imagine being able to play locally with GameShare like in Stardew Valley.

Or even online with GameChat.

And I know Terraria on Nintendo Switch could definitely benefit from a performance boost.

I can already imagine mouse controls like how Nintendo did them in Metroid Prime 4.

Maybe you play normally, but anytime you set the right Joy-Con 2 down, the game seamlessly transitions to mouse controls for building, fighting, and inventory management.

And heck, maybe they can even do 4-player splitscreen.

Although, I imagine that some…UI accommodations would have to be made.

Well, yes. It doesn’t “need” a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. It also doesn’t “need” another new update to be a complete package and a fantastic game.

But it would still be pretty nice to have all of these features.

my switch 1 is so laggy i cants run freaking terraria which is not a very hard game to run, above 20 fps 😭

There should be no lag, only lag I've experienced in my 500 hours was entering hard mode where it loads

I even tried to lag it out once by doing journey mode max spawns with a battle potion and no lag
