Hey I can't figure out how to change binding on switch for zl or zr. I want one to be jump and the other use item, but it won't accept just the trigger buttons as inputs

If you’re using a controller make sure your bindings aren’t dead eye’d. Sometimes the components can come loose and fall out of place making the buttons useless

If you’re using joycons, same thing, but also check if it’s a wireless problem by hooking them back up to your switch if you’re using them as hand helds and vise versa

If you're meaning the binding is assigned to something else, if it interferes it will unbind the other.

For example, cycle hotbar left is the default zl. If I change it to a, then try to change jump to a, it unassigns cycle hotbar left.

Zl and Zr cannot be assigned at all. To anything

I think it has something to do with next/previous menu page. There doesn't seem to be a bind for that (controller bindings group is already unassigned), so I don't know how to disable it. But the next/previous page button shows alongside the cancel button when trying to assign a new button
