Made a farm of 12 biomes that i can cycle manually or at intervals of few seconds to few minutes. That way you could farm almost every surface item you wanted without moving. Does the chest lets you collect the items? Even if not, there will be hopper chests in 1.4.5

What you also see in the video are two things:

A first lever, that adjusts the depth of fishing via pumps. The depth of fishing is determined of your bobber, so if water level is on the surface, you will get surface loot. If its underground, you will get underground loot.
My farm is set for water level to 1' surface and 2' underground when using pumps, so i can fish from surface or underground in all biomes.

The other lever is to change fluid from water to honey or lava. Since honey and lava have their own pool of items to fish, you can do it in any biome, so its convenient to fish in the same pool without creating other pools with lava or honey.

The only biomes you would miss are ocean, dungeon, sky and cavern

My hardmode biome generation was so weird. I made a new journey mode world to get the "and good riddance" achievement with a friend, but the hardmode V was a little wonky. It didn't make a V shape, it made 2 diagonal strips of hallow and crimson on the right side of my world, with the hallow going through the jungle, and the crimson next to the hallow strip

Just a tip if you didn't know, you can throw each accessory in the shimmer to get what you want. I.e. if you have two sextants, you can throw one in the shimmer to get pocket guide

You have dupe method on switch. Can easily dupe pocket guide twice and throw it in the shimmer for sextant and radio

Enter the world. Put item in the chest. Leave the world. Enter the world again, take the item, leave the world. Immediately press home button and close off the game. Start up the game. You will have item in inventory and the item in the chest.

If you are stuck, there is a reason you are stuck. Relogic designed the game and progression system that would be fair to a player. If you ask for items you could not get at your point of playthrough, thats breaking the progression of the game, but still its your game, your world. I was just curious if you even have fun with it.
