I mined a massive hole both sides and made a big diagonal tunnel along both sides of the V created when starting Hardmode so it couldn’t spread out

You can just dig around the desert and then use the clentaminator with green solution to purify it

Or you can use yellow solution to make an already pure area into a desert

The tunnel has to have at least 5 tiles that are non corruptible (including background walls to stop the spread if I remember correctly) I hammer out all the background walls but you could use non corruptible blocks if you wanted to make it look better
