You need to kill it,but at what time of day is your choice. Tho daytime EOL is harder

The Empress of Light is summoned by killing a Prismatic Lacewing, a rare critter that spawns in the surface Hallow at night between 7:30 PM - 12:00 AM once Plantera has been defeated in the current world.

May I please get some advice?
Right now I'm wearing a full set of mythril armor, fledgling wings, Terra spark boots, brain of confusion, bundle of horseshoe balloons, and a worm scarf.
I've been struggling to beat any of the hard mode bosses and I feel like I'm missing something. Any tips?

get wings, dodging items wont be that good in hardmode, try getting a shield (ankh shield, or downgrades in your case), use platforms, defeat destroyer first with the daedalus stormbow + holy arrows, craft the holy armor

try using shield of chtuhlu (as it seems you are in expert), dash is always good

Wait, how am I supposed to craft the armor if the materials only drop from the mechanical bosses? Plus the mimic that drops the storm bow has not failed once at crushing me into bits lol

the armor you craft it after destroyer, and the bow is easy to get, craft light keys (out of light souls) and put one at a time in empty chests, in the surface it's easier to dodge the hollowed mimic
