Hey. Playing Terraria on Switch as my first 1.4 playthrough and I have a problem. So I got SUPER unlucky in my Crimson/Hollow spawn from beating the WoF and the Crimson ended up spawning DIRECTLY ON TOP OF THE JUNGLE. I'm now post mech bosses but I can't fight planterra because 90% of the jungle is now dirt, even after purifying the whole thing with the clemtaminator. 1.4.4 added the ability for crimson to spread on top of grass so now the crimson spreads 1000% faster. I thought it was balanced by crimson no longer being able to turn mud into dirt but apparently not. I also can't get clorophite now. Any tips, or am I just completely screwed and have to start my playthrough all over from the beginning?

I know how to get into the jungle temple early to fight golem but 1.4.4 made it so you can't spawn golem until you beat planterra plus I can't get the Terra Blade since I need clorophite.

No I've beat the game multiple times on multiple platforms. My first version was mobile tho I never got that far. My second was 3DS where I stopped at early hard mode. My third was on Wii U 1.2.4 which I played entirely in multiplayer with my brother. We beat Ocram in that one. Then we played base 1.3 on PS4 together since the Switch version wasn't out yet. (it was 2018) We beat the moon lord there. Than I did a solo 1.3.4 playthrough on Switch and beat the moon lord on there as well as obtaining the ankh shield, cell phone, and the materials for the Zenith. Stopped playing after 1.4 came out and only recently started a new 1.4.4 file on Switch. So this is like my 6th playthrough where I beat the game 3 times previously. (If you count Ocram as the final boss of oldgen console)

Problem is that that character is in a 1.3.4 world (which are very glitchy last time I checked) and I lost the Zenith (and therefore all my best swords) there due to a glitch.

I might be able to craft a new Terra Blade tho which was buffed INSANELY in 1.4.4 to make it better than even the solar eruption.

Yes they do. When you beat Wall of Flesh v-shaped lines of crimson/corruption and hollow spawn in a random location in your world starting in the underworld and going up to the surface. For me it spawned just left of spawn so the crimson ended up right in the middle of the jungle and the hollow went right over the prehardmode crimson between the crimson desert and the normal crimson. Probably the worst spawn I could have gotten.

There is no Zenith seed. Master Mode is hard and unfair in general since they tripled every enemy's HP and tripled the damage you take and doubled enemy defense. If you want a challenge, play Expert "for the worthy" instead master mode isn't worth it for +1 accessory slot.

Duke Fishron is easy especially on normal. It seriously helps if you get asphalt from the steampunker and built your arena out of that + use buffs.

One way they can fix the one that everyone quits the game is that whenever someone quits the game and game is saving it won’t allow them to press homesceen until done

A lot of Switch games have that function
