I’d recommend: FF10 and 10-2 just for Blitzball alone (turn based combat), FF12 is a better game though. FF8 is okay, but it’s remaster is average. FF7 remake I’d just wait for the second part to come out before diving in.

FF15 pocket edition is fine too. It’s the most modern, but you aren’t missing out on much on the non-pocket editions unless you care about graphics and slightly bigger open world areas.
