issue with discord alternatives is theres not really anything that provides everything discord does already. revolt (now stoat chat) is pretty close but lacks any video or screenshare. steam has the missing features as mentioned. teamspeak requires a monthly sub for a server and doesnt support media sharing or screenshare. matrix is also there but difficult to set up if ur just a causal user

guilded was the closest thing to being a discord competitor for a long time but they ended up selling out to roblox (which then suddenly required a roblox account to use :/), then roblox axed it in december last year

Might be cuz of the uncanny yeah, visually they are a bit closer to reality cuz of shading etc whereas the statues lack any color so they can be a lot more distinct from reality

Yeah fair. A lot of those paintings feel really weird cuz of how dark and dull the colors tend to be aswell leading to another layer of the uncanny

They also tend to be designed around emotions and feelings so might be some of that affecting u too

Paintings of the women probably have more of an effect cuz they tend to be more rare than nude men paintings, also again being trans mtf u would be a lot more familiar with the male body whereas female is more of a deeper want/desire to possess but at the same time not being familiar with it physically

when you change, your family has to change too. change to your environment, your likings, your uh, whatever you guys do when you switch (i dont have much information on that), so dont worry. its completely natural. they love you, and they would do anything for you. theres no one that hates you at all. their reaction is natural and justified, unless they go into borderline hating you then uh, im not sure. the reaction you got from them was way more tame than others, so yeah. adds all the songs in playlist... you can also do multiple playlists..
you can make it be shuffled or not shuffled
uses less ram/memory than youtube. youtube preloads songs in a playlist so it adds more and more ram usage and doesn't unload songs
and that website just says no to ads....
