Mine sometimes take place where i live but some sort of threat is there.

Like I’m in some alternate universe where its ‘dystopian’ or smth that just felt like a word applied to it rather than what it was, colours were less colourful, there was a bit more tech around and less people, there was some maid or caretaker in the place i lived that didn’t recognize me. I think there was more but i don’t remember it clearly

Or recently there was some group that had taken control of the area and their leaders were magical beings or smth? I somehow killed one of them at some point and we had to sneak around because they might’ve had spies watching places, the area was more abandoned but oddly enough there was like this outdoor area in a spot that doesn’t quite exist irl with a bunch of people hanging out, eating participating in stuff ig it was peaceful but i just blame the inconsistency with it being a dream, i ended up sneaking through a factory they set up looking for someone they’d captured (and were brainwashing alongside other ppl) but we got caught escaping when i did weird thing, apparently i got some of the powers of the one i killed and when i said “by the fire of sunset, count olaf is alive” i activated them, i could’ve sworn i remember trying to come up with the phrase to say and settled on sunset, i don’t really know what the last part is about, maybe i for some reason named the guy i killed count olaf? Thats prolly it tbh and its clearly inspired by “by the power of grey skull” and the like, I woke up not long after

If i were to write stories i could prolly use some of my dreams as inspiration tbh, they tend to vary quite a bit and only some of them are more weird than story
