Cthulhu/ML basically had a battle with them and it was basically a win for him, but he lost body parts, which would explain why he has no legs, and the dryad npc was the last survivor. But yeah the dungeon was split in factions and a curse came along that made them all live past death, thus decaying into skeletons and going mad, probably why they're called "angry bones" cause they thirst for release of death or something.

On my melee master I actually did the tedious task of going 100% pure post-mech/pre-plant. It took a while, like maybe 2 or 3 hours game time but with those potions it was a lot better than I thought.

I must be trippin then. But they'll not spread on each other. I used to use hallow as a shield around my jungle but now jungle will not get deleted into forest biome when corrupted.
