Tangenting lines was something that was under my nose for a long time until I realized what they were. Basically it’s a 3 or more way intersection of lines that all meet, but not all the lines actually cross over. They stop at the intersection instead of making a complete pass

This can easily lead to confusion in reading the piece and confusion on what layer the object lies on

It may seem like a pain to deal with and fix, but it’s really worth it in the end, it leads to better results and a cleaner piece
