Working on a new build for the Cultists to enjoy. And I'm hoping to reskin them in the future to look like agents of World Serpent.

I'm gonna make the Rangers after Raven (left) and the Devotees after Grey Serpent (center). I will also try to reskin the Lunatic Cultist as Demon Kevin from the same game since I'm replacing the fight theme with his own.

Any tips on making the trim look better with Gothic Bricks so that their topside isn't melded into the rest of the bricks?

I like the Gothic Bricks' top trim, but whenever you have that up against other blocks, that texture changes.

Actually, I figured it out. I can just use Gothic Platforms instead of full bricks.

Perhaps terraform the sand, the slope of the ocean is really inaccurate in terms of real life geographics

Typically the banks of a landmass would do the slope you see there, then make a sheer drop down

So maybe you could recreate that

Ahh, I see; taking a look at it, there's two ways you could style it:

1. Public dock. Public docks tend to have rope ties at spaced intervals so boats can dock at them with ease and without worry they'll drift away with the tide. Public docks also commonly have piles of boxes, for whatever reason, so some placed crates should fit here
2. Private dock. Private docks are a lot more secure, with only one docking port at the end of the gangway, and tend to have guardrails to prevent falling into the water, so some boreal or some painted fence could work here, and they have a tendency to have lighting, similar to a streetlight, so maybe you could make an actuated pole with a lantern or hanging light up top will do

If you're referring to learning building in general, I really just recommend trying out the main fundamentals. Stuff like material variety, paint usage, build shaping, different themes & styles, etc. As you try more stuff out you'll learn more, as well as find more pieces you like using. Different blocks you might like for certain builds, different furniture pieces for others, etc etc. It is really just a learning game of trying stuff out & enjoying the process along the way if you are someone interested in building

Otherwise i'd replace the mahogany walls with something like boreal painted brown or regular wood, but that's a personal thing. I just don't like mahogany walls in strips of 1. You can feel free to keep them as is if you think they look better

Yeah they are. I seen someone use actuators so that when they decide to run through and we'll turn off and they can just go through it

Yes it works anywhere. Whether that be the jungle the underworld pretty much it's a worldwide thing

No mobs will spawn anywhere. Bosses will but that's a different story

It's great for building if you want to do it unhindered and are not in journey mode
