Yeah I know it makes no sense at all, you see a good deal, you grab it just to never touch the game. At times I do play them but I drop them a couple of hours in.

My main thing about it is that its very noisy. The checkerboard background tiles just. dont look good to look at.

There are also structural problems. Theres almost no ryhme or reason to the room structure. no connecting structures between the rooms, and the rooms themselves dont really have aesthetic function beyond the overalle build. And the big room with the slope just. doesnt have enough space to really do... anything with?

What i'd do with the big room is change it to this.
That way you have some flat space to work with, maybe make it into a big staircase room?

Looks good, if you feel like improving on it you might want to make better use of all the space you've got around, there's a room that bas a single trophy on it while the room on the second floor is rather messy and cramped, not much cohesion, candelabra right below a chandelier, bookshelves above a bed, a table and a chair next to the bed, a chest hanging from the wall.

Building could use some stairs from floor to floor the beams that support that room to the right make it look rather unsteady, same thing with the ones below.

The way you place walls and blocks feels rather random, try to come up with a pattern that makes everything look like it has a purpose, use blocks with vertical patterns for beams/columns and blocks with horizontal patterns for floors/ceilings.

and then you could do stair decorations like railings and closets and stuff

this area has also always been a problem. Is it a dock? a pier? a tunnel? a submarine dock?

It kinda suggest towards all of these things, but doesnt really fit into any one of these themes.

I agree about using woods painted white. you can create nice-looking rectangular frames with palm/shadewood wall for the sides, regular/mahogany wood wall for the top and bottom, and mahogany/boreal beam for the corners

Uh, there’s work arounds for a lot of that

Using walls and actuation in tandem, using white paints on walls to blend in better with actuated/non-actuated blocks that are also painted white or gray. You can also hammer blocks to a half tile to prevent them from blending with other blocks. You then use a wall/fence to fill the gap

The problem is adamntite beams only look good in long lines

adamintite beams are oddly textured as sinlge blocks, and the walls look completely different from the block

hence why it taking up alot of space is a bit of an issue
