Oh for sure. I''ll give you one tip for HC that helped me a lot. Dig to about 2-10 blocks above the underground layer (where worms can spawn). Then just dig horizontally. You will come accorss a lot of good things and no traps.

If you've actively chosen to farm sanguine, you're going to take as much time as it needs, regardless of delays. Faster does not equate to easier, just less effort.

what i suggest you to do while using a flail is either
just click once let it do the sweeping
click once after it hits the enemy you want click again to call it back earlier
click once and when it gets close to the enemy you want you just hold m1 so it drops ontop of the enemy and the enemy takes constant damage from being on the ball, which gets even better if the enemy can't move out of the ball
spin it around to get rid of breakable projectiles and vines while exploring and just having it ready to throw
