step 3: use cobalt/palladium to make a new pickaxe (and optionally power bombs to help with hardmode ore mining)
step 4: use cobalt/palladium pickaxe (or power bombs) to mine mythril/orichalcum
step 5: use mythril/orichalcum to make a new hardmode anvil and a new pickaxe
step 6: use mythril/orichalcum pickaxe (or power bombs) to mine adamantite/titanium
step 7: combine 30 adamantite/titanium ore with a hellforge while standing by your new hardmode anvil to craft your new hardmode forge, and then make yourself some new armour

Upgrade True Excalibur to Terra Blade and replace Stinger Necklace and Terraspark Boots with Moon Stone, Star Veil/Cross Necklace, Hero Shield , Mechanical Glove or Brain of Confusion as well as replace Ankh Shield with Frozen Shield.

Of these, Star Veil and Mechanical Glove or Moon Stone would probably be the preferred replacements.

You can buy Crimson Seeds by housing the Dryad in a Graveyard, then farm Crimson enemies and plants for Vertebrae and Vicious Mushrooms.
