In order to join someone else's world, you must have the same synced mods as them - some mods are either NoSync or Client side (such as UI edits), which don't need to be used. Content mods, like Thorium, would need to be used by the server. You do not have to make a character per world.

I never rlly tried rogue before the update. I only tried summoner and mage (I didn’t get to experience mage fully before the new update cuz I got my ass carried by people). Summoner, it’s just goated but idk with the new update. I started a mage world before the new update but I was on and off so I only beat my solo calamity mage world last month. Mage is ok in calamity. It’s just that in the late game, you just hold left click. I dont rlly mind the mana sickness in the late game cuz it only lasts for few seconds. Just don’t let the mana sickness stack. At least it’s way better than vanilla mage imo.

Probably thinking about starting a calamity mage playthrough again. Or maybe melee. Idk. I’m kinda scared to do a summoner calamity playthrough solo.
