You are going to need to learn actual coding first. Most mods use C# as a language, so I recommend checking out a few videos. And do keep in mind, this process takes months. It's not something you can just do. Especially what you are aiming for. Enemies, events, bosses, their AI, art, items, weapons/armor, their effects etc. will take tremendous amount of work

It's essentially using your movement to do damage

Kinda expanding on dashes

To add a lot more movement damage

If you want you can also just download the heroes mod to get yourself pre/post moon-lord gear, spawn the bosses and kill them and grab the hp/mana buffs so that you're basically at the post-moon lord stage then play normally from there
