Couldn't find any information on that, but do meteors fall multiple times in Calamity? I've beaten Brain of Cthullu two times, and a meteor landed for each time I beat it. I'm afraid I'll end up causing quite a lot of meteors to land and leave craters all over the surface if I grind Brain for its trophy

It’s guaranteed the first time you beat the evil boss, then a 2% chance each midnight, which goes up to 50% if you kill the boss again and an additional 50% of that each time they are killed before that midnight
If you’re worried about certain spots, place a chest or dresser there and meteors won’t fall within ~32 blocks
