It runs on Mac but it’s not optimized well. Terraria vanilla only recently became native for MacOS. Before that it ran super poorly.

Terraria now runs as a native arm rather than the previous OpenGL

Tmod is super laggy cuz of this but if they implement same changes as main launcher than I should finally be able to play modded without lag

Use the Elysian Aegis's dash, it lets you ram into them. Dash at them each time they are about to bite you (at least I think that's how I did it,). Use an infinite flight mount for the lasers he shoots later in the fight.

Also check the calamity wiki's class progression guide, its really great

Which mage armor is better pre golem in calamity? Spectre armor with the mask or Brimflame armor?

Defense: Spectre armor (additional 1 defense)
Overall damage: Brimflame armor (higher base damage especially with the armor ability)
Better set bonus: Spectre armor (the brimflame armor’s armor ability can increase ur magic damage but it can also make you screw up rlly bad during boss fights + I think the spectre armor with the mask helmet has a better set bonus)
More mana: Brimflame armor (additional 10 mana cuz the brimflame armor gives you 70 additional mana while the spectre armor with the mask gives you 60 additional mana)

Better armor: It depends. If you want more damage, go for the brimflame armor. If you wanna go for the safer option, use the spectre armor with the mask helmet. I used the spectre armor with the mask helmet pre golem because the brimflame armor is a high risk, high reward armor set.

Disclaimer: Not everything I say here are facts cuz I think some people may disagree and most of the stuff I say here are opinion based. Just let me know anytime if you disagree with this.

The spectre armor does a crap ton of damage with the photosynthesis and Atlantis to golem from my experience.
