as for actual criticisms:
the settings menu sucks ass
apple closes support for old OSes way too quickly
bloat, a lot of it (for fuck's sake i don't need a stocks app)
they're indecisive as to whether or not they should conform to UNIX standards
the installer either takes 3 hours or 30 minutes, no way to predict it, no explanation as to why
the UEFI is tied to local accounts for whatever reason
the backwards compatibility on macOS sucks, apps need to be constantly updated
the .app file format is needlessly complex
the dock auto-hide setting lacks an intelligent hide option, something which most linux distros have had for years
why can't we resize partitions at all in macOS
