For instance it's never established if Empress of Light is a goddess of light in particular, or if goddess is simply a title, or if it's her species, and so on.

(Also, while Moon Lord's entry refers to it as practically a god, Lunatic Cultist's entry refers to it as a deity, so it's entirely possible 'god' just means something generally strong and worshipped, for instance.)
