IT IS 12:34 AM
Are you struggling because you don't know what the gun looks like up front?
Yeah that and I was kinda tripping
I was up a bit too early doing this
Now that I’ve slept a little I can confidently say it looks… meh, fine
I can take a reference from a game if you want
Yeah, sure
That’d help a lot
Btw she’s supposed to be pointing it directly at the viewer
the scope is actually offset to the left (viewer's right) a bit, due to it being mounted on the side
Can kinda see that
Although the one I used for ref looks quite a bit bigger
But I’ll fix it either way lol
Thx for the help!
Probably because it's a form of modern scope attached to picatiny rail
The scope probably looks bigger because modern variant has this thing
Ahhh
which can attach any modern scope right on the top
while original dragunov has a very specific scope attached to the left of the gun
which in turn offset make it closer to the gun's base and more offset to the left
I found the ref
Yeah that is a very modern scope
It’s kind of a mix between a modern one and the old mounting thing
My reference also use the old mount but it comes with the old scope instead
old scope gets narrower to the front, while the one in the video gets wider instead
Is it just me or is the one in the vid mounted a bit higher up than the old one
Probably a matter of perspective
Yeah, probably
The one in the video has a smaller entrance and wider exit
It's mounted at the certain height so that the iron sight can still be used consecutively with the scope
the old scope has a very wide beginning, which when look through from the back can make it look like it's closer to the frame
The mounting device rarely has their height changed iirc
You can draw the scope in any way you like, I'm just here to help with the front
Does it matter? Or should I lower the scope?
Probably just half the size
Or 3/4
