#Do we have an anti-piracy screen?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I think Pidge was prototyping a half-transparent piracy banner that would display on top of the gameplay many years ago but didnât go with it?
There was also a thing in the old versions where if you ran a pirated copy it printed every ârâ character twice and you heard Pidge going âYargh!â on boot up, I think?
@worn kite am I crazy?
If we get a new one im imagining itd be a barely visible photo of Hal staring straight into the camera with the thousand yard stare with some ominous music and at the bottom it states
"piracy is a crime"
also ye it would be cool to have something creepy happen, even if it never triggers properly, it would be funny to have code for that compiled into the game
then that closes the game
ikr??
Could spread awareness about the game in a funny way if someone makes a video about that
im not sure what pidge's timezone is so if they live in the mainland U.S. then its either 4:34, 3:34, or 1:34 AM for them
so they wont respond for a while
Theyâre at UTC-5
oh alr
so 3:35am right now
alr (i live on the border of EST and ECT so i switch between those like daily)
basically their time and 1 hr ahead of the,
Pidge is too cool for sleep schedules so you never know what to expect, haha!
real
Tbh will ya I don't think piracy is that big an issue for the game currently
So just haven't put much thought into it
oh alr
i know a way how to help the fact you can snap pa out of steam
though im guessing you just... well delete steam files? im dumb so.. AND i would never pirate the game! i respect work from pidge! and im very mindful of people's work.
idk how to even pirate a game
or they could just pull a JSaB... that one is very real and... it's also funny
i have both JSaB and PA on my computer :3
Yo same
Beat it like 2 years ago
cool
same
Great story mode
ngl, if a game is pirated that usually just means someone who normally wouldn't have played ever due to the cost decided to pirate to try out the game
and then may buy the game later
or they pirated, enjoyed and therefore recommended to other people
said other people may then buy the game
it's talking about literal piracy, as in hijacking ships in the sea||
