its really good, no denying that.

i will say though that if the clear stays the same length i wont be running it. it's (imo obviously) extremely long, tedious, and boring, and it takes a lot away from what's a really good fight. some fixes could include lessening how many of those "respawn beacons" there are, as in the beacons that spawn mobs. as well as that, maybe reduce the mob amount slightly. i really like the pacing of rampant's clear, so maybe take some inspiration from that.

also the minions spawning in the boss are the only thing i dont like about the boss, i personally think it adds an element of rng in some phases where you're already microing small ballista shots in an already small area (big ballista shots), warden shots, and then the minions just make it a little annoying. i have this same gripe for prison and rampant.

damage is perfect, all of the patterns are perfect, ballista shots are really fun to dodge, and it has really good intensity to it. 👍

overall really good stuff, and im excited to see this quality in other dungeons coming forward (and the ones we have already).

the clear length is better now, but it's still not where i'd like to see it. the length is fine, but the clear is still tedious like i mentioned. the same issues still apply, like the respawn beacons and the high mob amount, but it's way more runnable now.

i hope the 4 rooms to 3 serves as a temporary bandaid fix rather than what the clear stays like, as it's still really boring to go through because of the insane density of the mobs, and the long range arrows making it very hard to get close to actually damage the mobs. the little shortcuts in the wall that crack open are pretty cool, though.

hp potion drop rates could be increased slightly to compensate increased difficulty / shorter clear

again, love the boss fight, but the clear feels monotonous (not necessarily boring or lackluster). probably difficult issue to solve when designing a dungeon clear, but i digress

its like the same f eeling when you get really bad ramp rooms too, it's just like monotonous like you described. i literally dont run rampants anymore because of how much of a snoozefest the clear is

yep. it's why ruins is my current favorite dungeon. all action. new dungeon could be better if the clear were refined a bit

i will say tho crypt is easily third the boss is THE BEST in the game, but the clear ruins a lot of it for me
