Pastebin.com is the number one paste tool since 2002. Pastebin is a website where you can store text online for a set period of time.
installing this nvidia-drivers
could you explain more about the error
It’s flickering and I can’t switch to new work spaces
hmmm its probably a driver error
I have to create a DRM/kms driver or edit existing one to work?
nouveau is not supported it looks like
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/NVIDIA
/usr/share/wayland-sessions/sway.desktop.
Copy it to sway-nvidia.desktop in the same folder.
Open it, edit line: Exec = sway with to Exec = dbus-run-session sway --unsupported-gpu. Then restart, select correct sway-nvidia in the login screen
If you didn't use any display manager, like starting sway from tty, then replace where you run sway with dbus... command above.
I did this
Check /var/log/dmesg.log
/var/log/rc.log
Also, if it's possible, share your sway configs, .bashrc, .bash_profile, and .profile. or may be fish.config if you use it
