Help regarding about installing dotfiles

I would like to learn how to install dotfiles, I have seen few videos for arch, but I dont know if its the same way for Gentoo. Im kinda noob about that .

If you mean installing things for wine with dotnet
Use proton-tricks or wine-tricks
Gentoo can use protonGE outside steam
