can you try having it not use logind? if you're in the video group?

but it's still launching in logind mode :) can you try launching it where it doesn't use that?

and is this elogind or systemd? if systemd, is there any logs about this in your logging daemon ?

It started happening when I removed Plasma and reinstalled it because I decided I want to use it

and when I did that sddm wouldn't launch anymore
