updating (emerging) a crossdev compiler
screen rice
stock sway rice!!!
how is this stock
I took a glance and thought it looked like a stock system
but also was making a joke on the stock kde rice
I can't find it
but someone took a screenshot of stock kde and posted it to r/unixporn a while ago
that's against the subreddit rules lol
ah, tbf this isn't too distant from a stock sway
just a lot of custom colors and i3blocks
cowsay -T U >>>>
@cursive junco i like it
pick a monochromatic desaturated palette and i believe it would match more
term color palette? Hmm interesting idea
yea, i see you arent used to it so try looking into what fits your style best
a palette thats easier on eyes is always more comfy ofc
yea i'll think about it, i made my current palette by basically just following the color names
so it looks pretty standard
i would call that pastel colors
looks good, also is that a vim plugin to preview hex colors?
oh, i use vanilla vim
you use the same color for both normal and bright variant?
i should try that
anyways in some programs bright variant just means normal variant but bold
dots?
i never got around to using sway because i dont remember how to configure i3 and didn't care to, but this looks good
Will share when I get home
thanks
Which do you want? swayconfig?
yeah just sway config
alright
sway config is shit simple tbh, I just started with the default included template and modified it a bit
yeah looks like it lol i cant hate since my bspwm rice is similar
but i have a question about the barless
did you remove the bar entirely or are u just hiding it
probably just hiding it right?
Depends on what you mean by hide
And here you go, i added .txt for discord preview.
In technical terms, it is still there but just permanently invisible.
But basically yeah I removed it.
Originally I was using the hide thing where it only shows up when modkey is pressed, and I still use that my laptop just to view the battery percentage.
But right now on the desktop I have it perm gone.
ahh
they should really make a version of i3 without the bar
and make the widgets optional
would def cut down on bloat
Just use dwm at that point
i know
but its still something to think about
just disable it
i can't see how removing it from the source code would be beneficial
I brought up as many TUI things I could
ignore the vim colorscheme because it doesn't match
This looks much better, I quite like it.
i like it, it matches more
try tweaking it some and see what you get i think it could be even better
You use alsa?
how do your eyes not hurt
why would they
A lot of themes actually use the same color for normal and bright, I know Catppuccin does and I think Dracula does too
Yea it's quite nice
