Yes please include atleast one source. What is linked on those profiles?
Also please change the title of this post to the names of your brickwall.
Just from what my grandma has told me and what she could remember other than that the trail is pretty cold
I'll just put familysearch to be my source at this point tbh
Need help finding my great grandparents
Hmmm, how recent do records for the town your grandmother was born in go to on fs?
Also ftr you're required to link to records and such vs just a site
I'am not sure she was born in 1952 from what she has told me to parents that she told me once that were murdered or one of them or idk died when she was little or something
But that's the thing I have no records for them the only thing I got is names of them that my grandma confirmed but not more detailed information that can lead me to a record or something
because she was very little and well she doesn't know that much about her parents
I have taken a DNA test so Idk If that could maybe help uncovering this mystery or something idk
There are several places named Guamuchil in Sinaloa. Was she born in Guamúchil city in Salvador Alvarado?
Yes she was
FamilySearch doesn't have records for that region, it seems. I will check Ancestry. I'm not at my main computer, but I would be willing to do some cursory DNA work.
All I know is the name of her parents and that she was born in Guamuchil Sinaloa mexico in 1952 but because she doesn't remember that much and know information about her parents I'm kinda stuck here
We could discuss that prospect further in direct messages. I'll check Ancestry and see what comes up.
sure feel free man
maybe a marriage record could appear I'm not so sure
Are you able to order her parent's marriage from the Sinaloan state government or something? And do you have Figueroa dna matches? Ones with figueroa in tree would prob be easiest to trace, unless you have some super close ones
It should, interesting. Maybe they're registered somewhere nearby instead?
It's possible you could find some candidates in the 1930 census
I have lots of DNA matches on Ancestry but the problem is I can't obivouly check those trees to find If they have a surname or something
Probably but from what I know my grandma told me that her father was form AZ or something because that's her brother told her but I really don't know I think DNA is gotta help me here lol
You can search for folks with a surname in search results there!
If you need a membership it's $17 a month rn, or you can try either asking someone else or making a free trial account and making it collaborator on your test
Oh ok got it
