#Is there a way to get access to these records without having to go to Utah?

Excuse me, but for some reason I can not post on the familysearch-request request part
I basically am trying to get hold of those records in here https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/100325?availability=Family History Library to confirm wether one of my ancestors really comes from here or not (brickwall, fairly recent). In a newspaper article where a person was in that had the same name and surname as a great great grandparent) they mentioned he came from a village close to this place. The place was under administration of this one (if I did my research right). I would need to check the 1866-1919 and 1919-1936 records for this person as they are important to maybe find this person in them and confirm that they really are from there. When I click on the specific records I get an error message saying: "Please try to access those scans through a Familysearch-center location or a library that has familysearch access". Do I have to go to Utah to get access to them (not feasable for me since I am from EU and it would be a quite big monetary commitment to make) or is there another way/maybe someone who can help me with getting access to those records?
I thank everyone in advance

The records I am in search of are Paul Lyra (around 1910-1920s) and anyone connected with them

1866-1919 is available at affiliate, FamilySearch Centers or for Church Member Access. 1919-1936 is no access.

# idle shard can you share more info on paul lyra and what kind of records mentioning him you...

I only have a newspaper article of a person I presume to be him (he turned 100 in 2018), the family had nothing to do with him and supposedly after ww2 he went missing so the great great grandmother found another husband who she married after the war. He is the father of my great grandmother and her sister but not much is known about that side since documents we have do not have his birthday/date on it. On the newspaper website it says he was from that place originally but then since world war 2 he now lives/lived in saxony. The place where my great grandmother and sister are born is also somewhere in saxony-anhalt (modern day) while he turned 100 in saxony. To the whole thing I can add that the persons residence at turning 100 years old (as listed in the newspaper, not birthplace) is only an hour drive away from the last place of residence on an old document certifying the parents of my great grandmother.

#

as for the birthdate, listed on the newspaper is 2016 and then on another local paper for "special moments" is 18th november as (Congratulations for the 100th birthday of Mr Paul Lyra)

access to those records are annoying. did a check on Ancestry and found these which could possibly be the father. might want to ask in #eastern-europe about checking all the sites that might have the records? The place is in modern-day poland and I don't have any experience there

yeah I am not 100% sure if its him but the information I have so far makes me think its them, I once when there was a free week for german records looked through all of the Paul Lyra records from the area (no matter the date) and I saved all of them, seems like I saved the one who is father of Anton (the record of them) but I did not think about saving the other ones for some reason 🤦🏼‍♂️

# idle shard <@245303160762007553> good news, i found him !

Sorry for bothering you but I have a ancestor called Luzie Kranich (wife of Paul Lyra) born around 25th June 1920 in Krezel, a village next to Bogacica that I am also stuck on the information. https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/300311?availability=Family History Library this would be the link to the specific website with the documents that I can not access. From what I have been told the family from that side originates from this area and had buildings there before they moved away (some supposedly still live there)

#

I have no clues on the names of the parents of this person at all so far and besides the death certificate with the place of birth and date I have nothing else about this person.

should be in film 2091955, though unfortunately that film looks like its FHL locked, so it can only be accessed at the family history library in salt lake city, utah
