So we currently have a Sword named "Sword of Souls" and this swords gives better chance at rarer loot drops when using it and yet nothing for Mining / Woodcutting / Farming.
In the same Ikit that gives this "Sword of Souls" gives an armour set to improve Slaying too; Fairy set gives chance at openables dropping.
Now this is not the worst thing except all the openables pretty much suck. Only good thing to get is Immortal Stones (Currently) and I'm not even sure if they drop them!
There are a few openables I think need a improvement. Bird Nests are pretty terrible when you compare them to Bird Houses.
In my opinion, A slight buff to the Nests is a good idea.
Mining openables are perfect in my opinion.
The tier 1 farming openables is awful, like really bad. Please buff those.
The tier 2 openable for farming are great. (I think it's called Ant Colony, they're red). No where close to as bad as tier 1's.
Now my idea here is.
#1 : Give slaying a openable drop. Slaying is pretty terrible and there isnt an enjoyable part of it (Who doesnt like opening rng loot table items!!)
Not to mention EVERYTHING has a openable drop. Farming, Mining and Woodcutting.
#2 : I like to idea of Ikits or just plain Kits that give sets for bonuses to Mining / Woodcutting / Farming, but at the same time it's hard to balance what set passives you give. If Fairy is the only thing behind a closed door that gives bonuses to grinding for stars then it should be better than the other ways.
In reality Fairy set sucks and it's behind a closed door!
#3 : It can easily be done to make "Sword of Souls" not the only one of it's kind! You can definitely make the same exact thing for Axes / Pickaxes (Farming is too strong unless you can think of another way of balancing it) Just FYI, I'm assuming this wording of "Better chance at Rare drops" just means the loot is rolled twice and the better outcome is chose.
Give the same bonus to a Pickaxe / Axe (Can be on new Ikits or Kits)
