#3DS Wifi Chip Replacement

I posted this on GBA Temp, I'm posting it here too in hopes of any support

When trying to go play Pokemon Platnium, I got a strange communication error before I could load my save. After some research and checking Soul Silver, i got the same error. After checking that my SD card was not corrupted through H2Testw, and suddenly my 3DS staring to crash on the homescreen with the error ErrDisplay, I can only conclude that my Wifi chip is going bad.

I am someone with little to no experience with messing with hardware. I hear that reseating and/or replacing the Wifi chip is not very hard, but should I try and replace it myself as someone who has never opened a 3DS before? Additionally, my 3DS is Japanese. Is there a specific Wifi chip I need to purchase?

For context my 3DS is Homebrewed, and I've had it for several years. It is the orignal 3DS model, not the New or XL

I am 100% it is Wifi chip, the process error is nwm. All gen 4 pokemon games do not work, as they get bluescreened (which is caused by this error), and it only crashes when I turn the wireless on

It doesnt crash if wireless is off, but it makes me unable to play any gen 4

Its particullarly a trait of the gen 4 games

I just want to know if I should bring it to a shop or do it myself as someone who's never opened an eletronic up like that

Ah! I figured 3ds would be fine, as it also is a hardware thing
