so i recently purchased this japanese new 2ds ll for 126 us dollars and i'm waiting for it's arrival. I checked all the photos and description that just said it's used and functional. just wondering if anyone can give their second opinion in terms of 3ds systems if there's anything to note or major red flags on the photos

I would say that it's just a good deal.
The Japanese consoles generally sell for lower prices compared to others since you can't change the system language to anything else unless modded. (and I've heard it can be a bit of a hassle to get it working if you intend to play online)
-# however do take this with a grain of salt as i don't buy 3ds/2ds's in USD so the prices could be a bit different. For my currency USD is basically double, but 252$ would still be a great price as most are listed for 300 - 500
