#My 3ds can't download anything and now all my modded apps are gone

So i bought this 3ds recently, and the past owner have already modded and installed some modded apps. I was pretty happy about it, but noticed that i couldn't install anything by the Qr code method and installing by the 3ds itself. Couldn't install games, themes and any other app and even the update for my pokémon x cartridge causing me to lose my save by the lumiose save glitch. I only managed to download a theme in the theme plaza web and place manually into the sd card fodder. But today, when i was playing and hit the home menu to see battery percent it said the sd card was not connected and restart my 3ds, this time whitout any modded programs the past owner installed.
If i have to guess id say it has something to do with the SD card corrupting the files, but i think this one is original and it is in fact formatted to fat32, so im clueless of why this happening
