So I recently modded my old 3DS and I've been debating on getting a 256GB SD Card so I can download a bunch more games and stuff (I'm currently using an 8GB SD Card). However, I'm concerned that I won't be able to transfer my game data from the 8GB Card to the 256GB Card and will have to restart the modding process which I want to avoid doing even though it only took me an hour to do so.
So what I'm asking is: am I able to transfer all of my Data from my 8GB SD Card to the 256GB SD Card (if I get one) with little issue? Or do I have to simply accept the loss and restart the modding process for the 3DS and redownload everything if I choose to switch to the bigger SD Card?

Don't use 256gb, it causes theme and graphical issues

About SD-Card formatting

For general information, please check [the FAQ](#1270692745056485417 message)

The 3DS family can only read SD-Cards if theyre formatted in FAT32.
For cards under 32GB this can be achieved with any standard tool.
For cards above 32GB on Windows you will need a special tool,
which can be downloaded here.
64GB cards need an Allocation unit size of 32KB/32768 bytes,
128GB need 64KB/65536 bytes.
Cards above 128GB are not recommended because of performance issues.

Ok. I know my local GameStop has 128GB SD Cards so I'll just get one from there

Ok, so I just ordered a 128GB Micro SD Card that has an SD Adapter with it from my local GameStop. When I get it, how do I transfer my 3DS Data from the 8GB SD Card to the 128GB SD Card? If I can anyway?

#

Nevermind, I just googled it
