deleting the files isnt meant to fix the issue.
Those are (now useless) files left over from the modding process that is no longer needed.

It can because I’ve used it to fix stuff I can trust gnome with there disk formater

Some programs will format cards in a certain way that will work with other systems, but not the 3ds.
Android and ChromeOS are examples
