it will power on and its controllable but won’t last long (abt 5-10 secs) before this message pops up, i can’t find anyone with the same pop up

i’ve tried system update, i can’t do it before getting the message, the issue still occurs with the SD car out and i’m not very tech-smart sadly so im a bit clueless

Do a safe mode update. Turn off the 3ds. Hold L R UP A while turning it on. Do the update

hey thanks for the tip! i tried but need to connect to the internet , i couldn’t, even just now im right next to my modem and it is not detecting an access point, do you know of any issues that may hinder the ability of the 3ds to find internet ?

does incompatibility make it so it won’t show up ? google is being very unhelpful in accurately telling me how to find this info

with that said, yeh im still not detecting any access points, ive tried manually typing my wifi details in too but to no avail 🫠

tho for context, i have successfully updated software and modded two 3DS (same model) on my wifi previously

so to me this seems like a big hardware issue

I've had this issue on a friend's New 3DS before. I think the WiFi card in the console has been displaced, making it inaccessible. When the 3DS tries to connect to StreetPass, SpotPass, or any other wireless protocol, it will start to fail and crash. The best way to continue using your 3DS until you find a real way to reinstall the card is to simply quickly disable wireless communication in the HOME Menu settings directly when you start the console.
