Found this in a local store for a few bucks how easy would it be to mod it without serial number and how could i fix the hinge?

Modding it is incredibly easy, all you need is the software version (which you can find in the system settings, and I recommend updating to the latest version). You don't need the serial number. I've never fixed a hinge on a 3ds before, so im not sure how easy that would be.

For the hinge, you are going to have to do a housing swap, which is kinda difficult if you dont know what youre doing
