#confused while trying to buy a new sd card

i have a 1gb sd card for the nintendo 3ds XL and im planning to buy a 128gb card but im not sure if its compatible, i looked up my own card (first picture) and was instantly met with the price of 100 fucking pounds for a SINGLE gigabyte meanwhile the one i wanna buy is 128gb but 16 pounds? (second image), am i missing something are they overcharging or something?
and my most important questions, is the 128gb sc card compatible with the 3ds xl because they dont state if it is or isnt to my knowledge

Any sd card is compatible as long as ur putting the right one in the 3ds
O3ds family- takes regular sd cards
N3ds family n new 2ds xl too( probably) takes micro sd card

I do not reccomend getting a sd card off of ebay. However the limit to the the sd card u want in the 3ds is up to 128gb because anything after that will cause issues. Also w any 64 gb sd card or larger u need to format it to fat32 using this guide https://3ds.hacks.guide/formatting-sd-(windows).html

Old 3ds refer to the first models of the 3ds like the 2ds, 3ds xl and 3ds. The new 3ds refer to the later models release closer to the end of the 3ds era n have a c stick

About SD-Card formatting

For general information, please check [the FAQ](#1270692745056485417 message)

The 3DS family can only read SD-Cards if theyre formatted in FAT32.
For cards under 32GB this can be achieved with any standard tool.
For cards above 32GB on Windows you will need a special tool,
which can be downloaded here.
64GB cards need an Allocation unit size of 32KB/32768 bytes,
128GB need 64KB/65536 bytes.
Cards above 128GB are not recommended because of performance issues.
