#3ds rebooting after game closed
4 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
All "Old" models have to run large games like Pokémon SM/USUM and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS in a so-called high memory mode due to not having sufficient free RAM otherwise.
Parts of the operating system are unloaded in high memory mode, and if you wish to quit a high memory mode game, the system has to restart to get out of it.
Ooooh,so it's a memory thing. No wonder those games are so big! Thanks for the info.
No problem.
If you were curious, New systems don't have to restart when closing high memory games. They have more than enough memory to run high memory games.
