My Birthday is basically a month of now. Need opinion

So my birthday is basically a month from now, and i wanted to treat myself before i go back to studies. And I some how convinced my parents, if they could buy me a 3ds, specifically the new 3ds Pokémon 20th anniversary edition. The thing is i don't really trust the people on eBay, but i found one on Facebook near my area, however I don't thing it will be available once the times comes. Any opinions on this matter?

Ebay has money back garuntee. There is no reason to not trust it.

and you are right about thinking it wont be availible in a month, 3ds are high demand right now, chances are it will be sold within a week.

That's true, but those plates are the problem for me, i would like get the authentic ones, so i might just have to find one a cib one for like 700 dollars on there.

well and to be honest i never owned a new 3ds specifically so i don't how those look like. which is funny because i have owned all the other versions at least once.

I have one and I bought mine off ebay, plain black plates though.

In my experience third party plates do not have any designs on the sides of them.

First party plates are not really worth getting, the prices for the plates alone are in the hundreds

Very True, i think I'll just look for a cib one and buy it and hope its a legit, but I've seen that at least for 20th edition, they have like grey paint on the inside so maybe I'll get them in the cib.
