I'm quite confused with the desciptions online? a touch screen digitizer? an LCD? are they the same? I don't have the 3ds, it's currently shipping to me and I would like to buy the screen right now so that way the 3ds and the screen replacement will both come together, thanks.

The outline is leaking liquid crystal due to cracks at the edge of the screen
At the very least the screen itself is cracked

the screen is, well, the screen, it displays the pixels. The digitzer is the lens on top of the screen that recognizes touch input

unless the touch input is not being recognized, you can just get the screen and reuse the digitizer.

I just asked the seller, and he said that it doesn't detect any touch input properly
so I should get a digitizer and an lcd replacement?
Ah, just searched the digitzers on ali express, thankfully they are cheap likle 5 to 10 bucks, not the screens though, i found the cheapest one is 25
