So, I was playin on my 3ds, And suddenly it stopped working. I thought the battery died as it gave the info about the battery dying. So i charged it and when i opened it and turned it on, it did not turn on, i heard a pop and it turned off. Now when i clicked the screen so it stood upright and then turned it on, then it does work.
Best thing is that when you click the screen back it turns off again. Anyone know if this can be fixed?

The ribbon cable for the screen is the problem
When you flex the hinge, you move the cable, which disconnects, which turns off the system
The pop means a hardware problem, some component required to be attached and working is not, so it turns off

The ribbon cable is torn, you might need to replace the display, camera, etc.
